from A$30.00

All prices are in AUD (Australian dollars - worth about 25% less than USD)

  • Ready-made, high quality, encapsulated silicone prosthetic: save hours not having to sculpt, mould, and cast your own.

  • Film quality and screen ready.

  • Realistically sculpted - we use real reference images for lifelike texures and details in the crusty suture sculpt.

  • Customizable - pick one of four skin tones, and whether you want it to be sutured.

  • Platsil gel 10 deadened to 170% to make it as soft as real skin, and move realistically and comfortably once applied.

  • Pigmented with the right balance of opacity and translucency to mimic skin, making it easier to paint.

  • Thin, acetone based cap plastic and thinly sculpted edges for easy blending.

  • Tight flashing makes it easier to apply the prosthetic: makes it impossible to glue down too much cap plastic.

  • Free video as a guide on how to apply the prosthetic for beautiful edges, skin tone matching, and accurate colouring for the skin graft centre.

Q & A

1. What do I need to apply the prosthetic?

I usually need an adhesive (prosaide, or telesis 5 are my favourites), acetone for the cap plastic edges, alcohol paints and isopropyl alcohol to paint the skin tones and the centre of the prosthetic, and I used a little bit of fleet st scab paste, and a little bit of cap plastic to create a dried, flaky skin effect.

2. Can I reuse the prosthetic?
No. During removal the edges get badly damaged. If you were to reapply it and try to patch it, you’d likely be doing 10 or so layers or prosaide creme, waiting maybe half an hour for all of the layers to dry. You’d also have trouble adhering a prosthetic which has had adhesive remover on the back of it. There’d also be leftover paint, blood, KY jelly on the piece from the first application, making it sticky and messy. There’d also most likely be sweat and dead skin cells on the prosthetic from the first application. It’s better in the bin, in my opinion.
