  • Ready-made, high quality, platinum silicone flatmould: save hours not having to sculpt and mould your own.

  • Realistic sculpt: we reference real injury photos to mimic texures and details in this large, open gash. Based on injuries by a chainsaw accident, or a machete wound.

  • Filling your own mould makes it customisable: you can use different materials, pigments, flocking and deadener, to suit your needs.

  • Long term investment - save money by not buying single piece prosthetics, will last through many refillings.

  • Tight flashing minimises material waste, and makes it easy to apply the prosthetic.

  • Thinly sculpted edges for easy blending.

  • Free video as a guide on how to fill the mould to get beautiful prosthetics.

ABOUT THE SILICONE MOULD

This prosthetic flat mould is made from strong, durable and tear resistant silicone that can be used over and over again. The silicone has been hand poured without the use of factory degassing equipment. You may see very tiny bubbles inside the mould, as they are part of the hand mixing process, but they do not interfere with the working surface, and do not affect the strength or practical quality of the mould.

Moulds are sold for personal and limited business use only. The following business activities are permitted:

  • Special effects makeup clients

  • Medical moulage training purposes

The following business activities are not permitted:

  • Selling prosthetics separately on Etsy, Ebay, Amazon Handmade and other website platforms.

Q & A
How much material do I need to fill the mould?

Approx. 100 grams, including the overfill amount before scraping.

Can I use the mould with … ?

  • Encapsulated silicone? Yes - optimally designed for this material

  • Prosaide transfer material, bondo, etc ? I wouldn’t recommend it, as the sculpt is quite deep/thick, would be a long drying time.

  • Gelatine? Yes

  • Liquid latex? Not recommended as it’s not a porous material (porosity = faster drying time for latex and less beading), plus there’s a chance the latex will inhibit any future silicone cast in the mould.
